Westside Wonderspace SCHEDULE

9:30 Arrival

Drop off each morning will be at Riverview Playfield. We will greet one another and put backpacks and lunches in the wagon and make a quick goodbye. Please note: If your child has a temperature of 99.9 degrees or higher your child will not be able to stay.

9:35 Morning Meeting

Students and teachers will meet in a talking circle to discuss the plan for the day, connect, and share.

9:45 - 11:00 Group Games, Hiking, Playground or other large motor outdoor activity.

We utilize the Riverview Playfields/West Duwamish Greenbelt and Riverview neighborhood as our playground and learning space.

11:00

Walk together to the Wonderspace which is our indoor classroom at 7018 14th Ave. SW

11:15

Remove our gear, wash our hands, and eat lunch.

11:45-12:45

CHOICE TIME. This is the time we use for building with blocks, imaginary play, reading books, and creating art!

We make art every day at Westside Wonderspace. Our teachers are very artistic and creative.

12:45

Circle Time with books, songs, dancing, and rhymes as a class. This is good practice for learning to sit together and listen. We want our students kindergarten-ready!

After we sing the Goodbye Song we meet our parents waiting on the sidewalk outside the door of the Wonderspace.
